About this route

Jeddah Airport to Madinah Taxi — how it works

Many pilgrims begin their journey in Madinah, but their flight lands in Jeddah. Rather than a second flight or a bus terminal, a private car can take you directly from Jeddah Airport arrivals to your Madinah hotel in one comfortable ride of about 420 km.

Your driver meets you at the airport with a name board, helps with your luggage, and drives the highway to Madinah with rest stops whenever you need them. The fare is fixed per vehicle before you travel, so your whole family rides for one agreed price.

Flying through Jeddah in October 2026? Check your terminal. King Abdulaziz International Airport is moving several airlines between terminals during October 2026. Seven airlines are moving from the North Terminal to the Hajj & Umrah Terminal: Tarco Aviation (1 October), Yemenia (8 October), SCAT Airlines (10 October), Uzbekistan Airways (12 October), Daallo Airlines (13 October), Somon Air (14 October) and Sudan Airways (15 October). Terminal 4 — the redeveloped former South Terminal, mainly for international low-cost airlines — is also now open: Wizz Air, AJet and SalamAir moved there on 27 September, Fly Jinnah and Nesma Airlines on 28 September, Akasa Air on 29 September, SyrianAir and Pegasus on 1 October, and Azerbaijan Airlines and Tunisair on 3 October. A ticket booked earlier may still show your old terminal, so confirm your terminal with your airline before you travel. When you book with us, send your airline and flight number on WhatsApp — we track your flight and your driver meets you at the correct terminal, whichever one your flight uses.
